Alhamdulillah, it is a great mercy and blessing of Allah SWT that the Islamic Society of Baltimore continues to grow. We continue to invest in people, and not just buildings.
In addition to our Phase III Construction project, we have been searching for ways to continue building our community spiritually as well.
To this effect, after a lengthy search process for a resident scholar to lead community efforts, we are excited to announce that ISB has hired Mufti Yaseen Shaikh. He will serve as Head of Community Affairs for the Islamic Society of Baltimore and start his new journey with us in Ramadan.
On behalf of the ISB Council & the Al-Rahmah Qur’an Academy Board, please join us in welcoming Mufti Yaseen Shaikh back to ISB. We pray Allah SWT puts barakah in our community and allows it to grow and flourish with our amazing team of Scholars, Teachers, Staff, and Volunteers at ISB.
