MISSION: Girl Scouting builds girls of courage, confidence, and character, who make the world a better place.
Girl Scouts is an international organization catering to girls from Kindergarten through twelfth grade (ages 5-18).
This program is dedicated to helping girls build good character and skills for success, through service projects, fun, friendship and confidence-building methods. Girl Scouts provides girls with a feeling of belonging and trains them to be well-rounded individuals and good leaders. We come under Girl Scouts of Central Maryland (Service Unit Number 651).
ISB Girl Scouts Troop 223 incorporates Islamic traditions to enable girls to understand how to successfully balance success and growth in life without compromising their faith, including celebrating Islamic holidays together and having the opportunity to earn various patches including ones for Jumuah and Ramadan.
