Arrangements have been made for brothers in the prayer area. All brothers who intend to perform Sunnah Itikaaf should arrive at ISB before maghrib on the first day (March 29th or 30th) of the last 10 days of Ramadan to prepare the itikaaf area and review any logistics. All participants full or any part of the 10 days must register at the link below. Please register soon.
To learn about the details of Itikaaf, you must attend the workshop on March 29th at 6:30 PM in the ISB Musallah (prayer hall).
You will have an opportunity to meet the Itikaaf leads (Brs. Jalal, Mubeen and Ibrahim) for 1445/2024 at the Itikaaf workshop insha’Allah.

The benefits & rewards for sitting in Itikaaf:
- Ali Ibn Hussain (RA) narrates from his father that Prophet (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) said: “He who observes the ten days I’tikaf during Ramadan will obtain the reward of two Hajj & two Umrah.” (Bayhaqi)
- Abdullah bin Abbas (RA) reported that Prophet (Sallallahu Alaihi wasallam) said: “Whosoever for Allah’s sake did even one days i’tikaf, Allah would keep him away from Jahannam by trenches.” (Tabarani)
- Ibn Abbas (RA) reported that the Prophet (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) said, (about him who engages in i’tikaf), “that he is safe from sin & he also gets that reward which everyone (outside i’tikaf) gets for pious deeds.” (Ibn Majah)
